Set the visual and editorial tone for everything members see, from the weekly brief to the marketing site.
The product is reading. Quiet, careful, slightly literary. The aesthetic is closer to a magazine than a fintech app, and that's a deliberate choice. As our designer, you'll own everything members and visitors see: the reading experience, the marketing site, and the small interactions that make Kolo feel calm and considered.
You'll work directly with the founders. There's no design system to inherit, you'll help build one. Strong opinions about typography, whitespace, and when not to add another element will serve you well here.
We're open to a range here. If you're a strong mid-level designer who cares deeply about craft, we'd love to talk. If you've led design at a small consumer product before, even better.
